The main goal of the HEMUA project is to increase the attractiveness of the Uzbek university education system for talented students and to introduce a system for ensuring the quality of education similar to European models. Another goal is to improve the transversal competencies of students to better respond to the demands of the constantly changing labor market.

Project Objectives
- Increase attractiveness of the courses offered by the Uzbek universities in agricultural topics improving the complementary teaching.
- Increase the level of English of the students and professors.
- Introduce a quality assurance system in the Uzbek teaching.
- Improve the soft skill of the students to make them suitable to the new job challenges..
- Improve the quality of teaching by improving connection between University and research.
Key Activities
Adaptation of Study Programs
Identification of courses at the Uzbek HE institutions to be modified, revision of the selected courses also considering the student needs, definition of the syllabus of the modified courses and their implementation at the Uzbek Universities.
Soft Skills Development
Organization of dedicated seminars and traineeship in private companies. Creation of a repository for blended teaching.
Labor Market Integration
Evaluation of the need of the labor market, identification of new professionals for the agricultural sector and organization of career days at the Uzbek Universities.
